on April 6, 2008 the Southeast Texas cake club held it's 2nd annual Day of Sharing in Winnie, TX. The event was a great success and I was fortuante to be a demonstrator this year. My demo featured my brand new cutter kit for making lil' cowboy boots. I had a ton of fun and met so many nice new friends!

The 2 days following the day of sharing I attended a 2-da class featuring Jennifer Dontz teaching 6 gumpaste flowers and berries techniques. I am always trying to improve my skills. In class I  learned the techniques for making the Cymbidium orchid,  hydrangea, hibiscus, gardenia, bittersweet berries, and hypericum berries. The classes were so much fun and Jennifer Dontz is a great teacher!  I highly  recommend  her classes.

the way home!
